In front of a shopping center in Jacksonville, there stands a throwback to the mini golf playground that used to reside in that spot: an orange T-Rex supporting himself with a bone cane.
We continue our Road Trip in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This time, we hit a bit of Weird USA in the form of The Captain, an out-of-place, outdated mini golf statue along the side of the road.
Our next stop in Myrtle Beach had to be Mt Atlanticus Minotaur Goff, one of the more than 50 mini golf courses along the Grand Strand. It's one of the reasons that Myrtle Beach has been nicknamed the Mini Golf Capital of the World, and provided a good couple hours of fun.
Our stay in Myrtle Beach kicks off as we visit one of it's many tourist destinations: Broadway at the Beach, a collection of shops, bars, and many other amusements including a mini golf course and Wonder Works.
