Brookgreen Gardens: Day 2 – More of the Sculpture Gardens
Our continuing visit to Brookgreen Gardens, in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, hits day 2, where we continue to check out the Sculpture Gardens.
As it turns out, I actually missed a couple of places we visited in Myrtle Beach during our November 2016 Road Trip. When I first started working on editing pictures for the website, the sheer number of pictures for Brookgreen Gardens was a bit daunting, and I skipped over them in favor of working on attractions with fewer pictures to edit. Unfortunately for me (and for your continuity with our trip), that meant I started publishing posts of where we traveled after we left Myrtle Beach, without publishing Brookgreen Gardens or a few other places in Myrtle Beach. These posts, then, are a visit back to our time in Myrtle Beach. While they will show up in their correct spot on the road map of our trip (based on the date we actually visited them), the post timeline will be a bit off, so bear with me as we try to play a little catch-up.

After our amazing first day at Brookgreen Gardens, we were surprised to discover how much more we still had to explore. With the sheer size of the place, it’s no wonder the tickets are good for 7 days. So, on Thanksgiving Day, before we met with family for dinner, we headed back to Brookgreen Gardens, this time to explore more of the Sculpture Gardens.
This time, we stopped in for a coffee and a muffin at the little eatery on the grounds. Rather than rushing, we took our time strolling through the grounds, enjoying the sights around us. With a little coffee to keep us going, the chillier weather today didn’t dampen our spirits at all, and although we were pretty exhausted by the end of our 2nd day at Brookgreen Gardens, we were definitely excited to return to finish up our visit here.
Check out the pics below, and stay tuned for Day 3 at Brookgreen Gardens.
